At Global Gathering 2025 in LA, Flight Centre Travel Group reaffirmed its commitment to corporate social responsibility through the Flight Centre Foundation.
Continuing the Sustainability Journey
Highlights include planting 2.5 million trees globally with Reforest, supporting communities and biodiversity. Flight Centre leaders, including Founder & CEO Graham Turner, witnessed this impact firsthand on Vancouver Island.
It's all part of Flight Centre's 'Planting for the Planet' initiative, a program driven through their Captain’s Pack and Flight Centre customers, an add-on launched in August 2023.
“This milestone is a powerful nod to our responsibility to preserve and enrich the places we love", said Andrew Stark, Global Managing Director. He emphasised the value of connecting with local farmers and supporting a future community of leaders. Reforest CEO Daniel Walsh commended the initiative: “Flight Centre is setting a great example for the travel industry.”
The conference also invited attendees to donate socks to the Downtown Women’s Center and featured other sustainability efforts, such as reduced single-use plastics and carbon emission compensation.
